So… What is gem mining?

Gem mining is an interactive experience that involves discovering hidden treasures of gems and minerals using our outdoor sluice area. We offer 4 different sizes of bags, with the two largest guaranteed to contain fossils, shark teeth, arrowheads, and a large crystal specimen.

how do i mine?

Customers buy a dirt bag from our selection of four sizes in the shop, and head out to our sluicing station.
Using screened boxes, they can then scoop from the bags and wash away small sand and dirt.
Gems and minerals from around the world are then plucked out and piled to be bagged and taken home, along with an identification card
